Join us for an evening of creativity, performance, and community as we celebrate the launch of Flesh & Parchment Vol. 5: The Secret Garden.
Step through the garden gate and into an evening of poetry, prose, live music, performance, and an open mic, celebrating the strange, beautiful, wild, and hidden things that grow when nobody is looking.
The Secret Garden is an invitation to explore what we keep tucked away: private worlds, strange little obsessions, things that bloom unexpectedly, and the parts of ourselves we only reveal in the right company. Expect an evening full of imagination, intimacy, storytelling, and a little bit of magic.
Whether you’re a writer, performer, creative soul, or simply curious, come and discover new voices, meet fellow creatives, and celebrate the launch of the fifth volume of Flesh & Parchment in good company.
Open mic spots will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anyone interested in performing can sign up at the event upon arrival.

- Contributor performances: poetry, prose, music, and other performances from artists featured in Flesh & Parchment Vol. 5: The Secret Garden
- Open mic: a chance to share your own work, whether you’re a regular performer or have never stepped up to a mic before
- Zine stall: pick up your copy of Vol. 5: The Secret Garden, as well as copies of previous Flesh & Parchment volumes
- Drinks, chatting & general garden wandering: meet the contributors, browse the zines, and spend the evening with other people who like making strange little things
