Voices Passed Down - Music Performance ft. Doozyah

On Thursday, February 12th, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET, at Twelve Gates Arts, we will host a musical performance by Doozyah.

This performance featuring vocalist Doozyah (Sophia Pradhan) unfolds within Karen Dias: A Dotted Line as a live, embodied response to the exhibition's exploration of borders, bodies, and systems of control. Drawing from collective histories and musical bodies of work used in the context of protests and resistance throughout South Asia, the performance moves across Hindi, Malayalam, and Urdu, inviting listeners to enter the space with their own lineages and memories, allowing sound to become a site of recognition, resonance, and shared witnessing across time.

Doozyah is a Malayali American singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia. Classically trained in both Carnatic music and opera, she delivers a genre-bending sound, often drawing from contemporary pop and experimental electronic.
