Want an experience like Night At The Museum where you can meet Augustans from the past and hear their stories? Then join the Augusta Museum of History for the Voices Of The Past Super Saturday on December 14th.
Three performances will take place through out the afternoon. Dr. Jean Embry will tell the story of Emily Tubman of Augusta and William Tubman, Liberia's longest serving President and how they are connected at 12:30 & 2:00pm. Joseph Zuchowski will share about life on the Savannah River as a Petersburg Boat Captain at 1:00 & 2:30pm. And Tera Jackson will perform as one of the Paine College protestors known as The Steering Committee at 1:30 & 3:00pm.
A little historic theater to go along with the holiday season, all these performances are free to view with regular Museum admission. Don't miss this once a year special Saturday.
