About this Event

Join us at the Clark County Historical Museum on Saturday, June 19th for a special one-night-only presentation of Voices of the Enslaved and the Free: The Road to Juneteenth, a community readers theater presentation perfromed by Msanii Creative Expressions.

This free event explores the origins of Juneteenth through spoken word, music, and poetry, bringing to life Frederick Douglas, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, and Elizabeth Hayes Turner.

Msanii Creative Expressions is a community-centered arts initiative serving adults, youth of African descent, and low-income community members through poetry, storytelling, cultural education, and creative performance.

This performance is free and open to the public. Registration required.
