WHAT: Voices of Lincoln Beach – A free community memory collection event WHEN: Saturday, March 29

WHERE: St. Augustine High School Cafeteria, 2600 A.P. Tureaud Ave.
The event will serve as a space for residents to recount experiences at Lincoln Beach, preserving its legacy through storytelling and oral history recordings.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together to honor the rich history of Lincoln Beach,” said Cierra Chenier, Black New Orleans historian and event lead. “This event will allow us to capture the stories and memories of those who lived, worked, and enjoyed Lincoln Beach, helping to preserve its legacy for future generations. Every voice is vital to this shared history, and we encourage everyone to join us and make their voice heard.”
