Susanna Kwan is an artist and writer from San Francisco. Her work has been supported by fellowships from Kundiman, Storyknife, Oak Spring Garden Foundation, and Vanderbilt University. Awake in the Floating City is her first novel. She teaches writing with The Dream Side.
Sarah S. Grossman is a writer, whose debut novel is A Fire So Wild. A former reporter at HuffPost, they covered the climate crisis and other social justice issues. Born and raised in New York, they live in California.
Jennifer Barone is an Italian-American poet and artist. She is the author of three books of poetry, including Saporoso, Poems of Italian Food & Love (Feather Press). She is a host of the Voices on the Hill Podcast, interviewing Bay Area Authors & Poets for Telegraph Hill Books. She has been a featured poet at San Francisco’s LitQuake, SF Public Library, SFJazz Poetry & Jazz Festival, Marin Poetry Center, Red Poppy Art House, Libreria Pino / Telegraph Hill Books, Bird & Beckett Books, Golden Sardine, The Beat Museum, The Petaluma Poetry Walk, SF MoMa, SF Historical Society and DeYoung Museum.
We’re excited to announce the launch of “Voices from the Hill” a podcast dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent right here in our literary backyard. As a proud member of this vibrant community, Telegraph Hill Arts & Literature believes our local authors deserve a platform to share not just their published works, but the stories behind them.
