Happy Black History Month!
Are you a writer? Lover of books? A creative? Appreciate a hookah free, chill, vibe night with coffee or a glass of wine? Then come through!
Join us for Voices, an intimate literary gathering honoring Black writers whose words continue to shape how we think, feel, and remember. Inspired by the tradition of living-room conversations, this evening invites us to sit with the work of Black literary ancestors and contemporaries alike—listening closely, reading aloud, and reflecting together.
This event is brought to you by Dr. La-Toya Scott, an Assistant Professor of African American Literature and Culture and a public-facing scholar committed to making literary study accessible beyond the university.
Light refreshments provided!
Vendors onsite.
