We're thrilled to welcome China Young to CATS to offer a voice workshop/class. China is a theatre artist who has been involved in performances since she was 4 years old. A performer, creater, director, designer, producer, and teacher, her education includes a variety of traditional techniques, as well as experimental explorations in performance and voice. Her pre-pandemic years were spent working at Arizona Theater Company in Tucson, Arizona. In addition to being an arts administrator, she taught voice, acting, and movement classes during their Summer OnStage youth conservatory program, and served as Assistant Director to Michael John Garcés for their 2019 production of The Royale, by Marco Ramirez.The class, which is for ages 15 and up, will be offered on Saturday, June 29th, from 2:00-5:00, and costs $40, which includes the 3-hour class and print material. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat or towel, and come for an afternoon of learning and fun. Space is limited, so get your tickets soon, and we'll see you there!
