The evening consists of two dance works in Bharatnatyam.

Postcards

Inspired by Rabindranath Tagores poetry and painting this presentation creates a colourful-dance collage of his ideas through the lines and shapes of Bharatantyam. 

Debotar Grash

This solo dance_drama through spoken words interspersed within the narrative structure of Bharatantyam explores the motif of the beautiful fragile and emotional relationship between a little boy and his mother based on Tagore's poem "Debotar Grash" (Devoured by gods). It imaginatively also weaves recited poems interspersed within the narrative structure of Bharatantyam taken from his collection called 'Crescent Moon'
