"Olympia Symphony - LEARN FROM THE BEST"The third in a series of masterclasses presented by 2023-2024 Olympia Symphony Guest Artists, mezzo-soprano Miya Higashiyama will instruct local youth vocalists in the welcoming space of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Miya will share insights, expertise, and inspiration with humor and contagious enthusiasm. Music students, teachers, and anyone interested in music will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the music-making process.

Please note that registration does not guarantee selection to participate. Five students will be selected to participate, and selection will be based on showcasing a variety of repertoire and representing various teachers' studios.
Deadline for registration applications is April 5, and participants will be notified of their selection on April 7.
Participation is limited to students residing in Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Pacific, Clallam, Jefferson, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, and Skamania Counties.
There is no charge for participation or attendance, but donations are gratefully welcomed. Miya Higashiyama will be performing the de Falla's "El amor brujo" with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra on April 21 at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, Olympia.
