Vocal Fireworks

Join Opera Worcester in our effervescent concert which is inspired by two different cultures that know how to ring in the New Year in style.
About this Event

To mark the beginning of its 75th anniversary year Opera Worcester is starting off 2027 with a bang!

In our first half we will transport you to Bonny Scotland with a programme inspired by both Hogmanay and Burns Night. Balancing uplifting, fun-filled favourites with poignant and moving elements from traditional folk songs to Broadway classics and plenty in between!

Our second half is inspired by the world-renowned Viennese New Year Concerts. Expect sparkling operatic moments, choruses fizzing with excitement and an overall feeling of glittering celebration.

Drive away the winter blues and join us to welcome the New Year with a dazzle of expectation.

We are very proud to have Artisan Joinery Worcester Limited as our sponsor for this concert.
