VOAPA invites you to support the 18th Annual Walk for Hope, our largest fundraiser for Ruth’s Place, Luzerne County's only women's shelter, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. During the Walk for Hope, each person “walks in the shoes” of people who are experiencing homelessness in our community and empathizes with the challenges they face when seeking help and regaining housing, independence, and hope!
