VM X NHSF (UK) 2022 - A Dharmic approach to exploring sexual orientation

Consider this, Hindu values could be the most accommodating to understanding sexuality. A range of sexual orientations and acts are mentioned in the Hindu scriptures from the infamous Kamasutra to the widely read Mahabharata. Classical depictions certainly seem to suggest a sense of comfort with one's own sexuality, there is however, a large amount of perceived opposition to exploring sexuality amongst many Hindus. How can we improve the experience of exploring our sexuality in modern Dharmic society? What role should the exploration of sexuality play in the leading of a Dharmic life and what is to stop us from becoming overly hedonistic?
