VM Summer Intensives 2023

Open to all dancers ages 5-18. Two weeks of classes available: July 17-20, and July 31-August 3. All styles offered. Class times will be held from 10 AM to 1:30-2 PM each day, with a 30 minute lunch break.

Class Instruction led by guest master teachers and Variant Movement Faculty. Class schedule is subject to change based on any changes to guest teacher availability. All styles are offered each week. Final class schedule will be emailed to all registered participants at a later date.

Dancer classes/levels will be assigned based on skill level and/or age. Classes will be divided between beginning/intermediate and intermediate/advanced dancers.

For all leaps & turns, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater classes, please wear fitted dancer wear, with hair pulled back into a neat ponytail or bun. For hip hop, street shoes/sneakers are permitted with baggy clothing. For ballet, please wear a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, with hair pulled back into a neat bun.

All dancers should bring their own thera-band and 2 yoga blocks for all stretch/conditioning classes.
