Join us on Saturday, May 9 from 1-3 pm for VLAA Remixer, a new free event designed to build connections and community among VLAA artists, volunteers, clients, family, fans, and friends. Meet cool people, see cool art, eat some good food, and unlock the potential of our creative community.
What to expect:
1-1:30pm: Arrive, check in, mix and mingle while you take in the visual art on display
1:30pm: Programming starts. Our friends from Some Things Must Be Heard will help center us with poetry, sound, and community building activities. We'll weave in short musical performances from VLAA artists, and end with a call to action to support Some Things Must Be Heard's mission to uplift the voices of systems impacted artists.
3pm: Event concludes, go forth and foster your new connections to the arts community!
