Vizcaya Summer Fridays is a series of five extended evening experiences at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens — one of Miami's most iconic historic estates on the shores of Biscayne Bay. On select Fridays this summer, the gardens stay open until 8:00 p.m. and the Main House until 7:30 p.m., giving you the rare opportunity to explore this breathtaking property as the sun sets and the city lights begin to rise behind the iconic Stone Barge on the bay.

No program to follow. No schedule to keep. Just Vizcaya at its most relaxed and most beautiful.

Each evening includes:

• DJ sets setting a cool, social tone throughout the estate
• A live artist demonstration — watch a local artist create in real time
• Light bites and drinks for purchase from local vendors
• Full access to the gardens and Main House through closing

Juen 26 | Annick Duvivier, a Haitian-born artist based in Miami, is renowned for her mixed media paintings that delve into themes such as nature conservation and femininity. Her artwork has gained international recognition, showcased in prominent venues like the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and the Yellowstone Museum of Art. Duvivier possesses an impressive portfolio, with pieces included in various public and private collections, including the Tamarac Public Art and the Miami International Airport. She received her Fine Arts training at Altos de Chavon and holds a BFA in Visual Arts from Miami International University of Art & Design.

Mark V is a Miami native visual artist working primarily in vintage film and analog video. He is also a vinyl selector with a deep focus on Japanese City Pop, AOR, and Jazz Fusion, weaving rare and soothing sounds into carefully curated sets. His broader musical interests extend into New Wave, Goth, and Synthpop, shaped by a strong pull toward synth-heavy textures, moody atmospheres, and tracks rooted in alternative sensibilities.

Is this a separate event from daytime admission? Yes. This evening-only ticket grants entry beginning at 5:00 p.m.

If you'd like to visit during the day as well, purchase standard daytime admission at vizcaya.org AND it includes the evening extension and is the better value if you plan to arrive before 5:00 p.m.

What time does the museum close? On regular days, Vizcaya closes at 4:30 p.m. Summer Fridays extend those hours — Main House until 7:30 p.m. and gardens until 8:00 p.m.

Can I purchase tickets at the door? Walk-up admission is welcome while available. We recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee entry.

Is the programming the same each night? No — DJ sets, artists, and vendors rotate across all five dates. Each evening is distinct.

Is parking available? Limited parking is available on-site for free in the East side lot as well as Vizcaya Village. Street parking is available along S. Miami Ave. The museum is also accessible via Metrorail (Coconut Grove Station) and rideshare.
