VIVISTOP Welly Intake Evening

VIVISTOP Welly Intakes are information, registration, and induction evenings for interested children aged 9-15 and their whānau who wish to engage with our innovation studio.

Our intake evenings are introductory sessions that enable budding members (we call our new members Explorers) to learn about who we are, how we work, and to connect with each other before embarking on a shared journey of creative challenges and health and safety training.

During this session we take your family on a tour of VIVISTOP Welly, explain what our infamous Tinker Time entails, and what our full (FREE!) membership looks like. We also use this time to get consent forms signed as well as any other required registration information we may need. Information on how to book our Tinker Time sessions will be provided upon registration.

These intakes are for creative children with an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit who wish to join our creative community and use our amazing studio to autonomously realise blue-sky ideas that enrich their community.

Intakes occur every five weeks, so if you don’t manage to get in this time around, make sure to book in when the next one comes around!

• VIVISTOP Welly Intakes occur every FIVE weeks on a Monday
• Bookings are essential
• 12 slots will be available to book each intake
• Children and guardians are both required to attend
• Children have to be a minimum of nine years old to be eligible
• Siblings require individually booked tickets
• Waitlists are available for each intake

What and where is VIVISTOP Welly?

VIVISTOP Welly is our free-flow co-creation studio space that lives in the heart of Wellington City. It is our much treasured maker-space where young and young at heart can make, create, and innovate side-by-side.
