About this Event
Adults ages 55+ are invited to join us for an immersive experience in the galleries, followed by an art-making activity. This month, we will highlight Día de Muertos: A Celebration of Remembrance in our Main Gallery. In this workshop, award-winning poet C.T. Salazar will lead participants through how to write calaverita poems – eulogies for the living – lighthearted verses that celebrate life, often with a humorous or satirical spin.
Coffee and treats will be provided from local establishments. This program is free, but registration is required. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
