About this Event
Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition believes that event-goers should be able to choose how they travel to and from their destinations. We know that fear of bike theft is one of the primary factors that discourages people from riding, so we've designed our Bike Parking Program to help elimate that fear.

Want to be at the heart of the Viva Calle action while helping keep our community green and active? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help manage our high-energy, high-importance Bike Parking Corrals!
As a Bike Valet Volunteer, you and your team will be the welcoming face that gives attendees peace of mind, knowing their favorite wheels are safe and secure while they enjoy the open streets.
📋 What You'll Do:
-Welcome & Tag: Greet attendees and hand out valet tags for them to secure to their bicycles.
-Monitor & Organize: Help within the corral to maintain a safe, orderly space and support riders who are struggling to properly park their bikes.
-Secure Checkout: When attendees return, double-check that their claim tag matches the tag on the bike to ensure everyone leaves with the correct ride.
-Team Up: Work alongside a fun, energetic team to keep operations smooth.
