Vital & Creative: Japanese Stab Bookbinding for Ages 55+

Participants will learn to make their own softcover, hand-bound books and can check out bookbinding books from the library. Japanese stab binding is a traditional non-adhesive bookbinding technique where pages are gathered and “stabbed,” then stitched together with a needle and thread. Free. Space is limited; registration required.
Vital & Creative is a series of creative materials explorations for adults ages 55+. This event is presented in collaboration with Anchorage Public Libraries.
