Visualising Macbeth

We’re looking for teachers, actors, theatre professionals and people who love Shakespeare to join us on a journey exploring how to visualise Macbeth using a simple chart.

My grandmother taught English and was doing a PhD on Shakespeare at the time of her death. She was trying to find a structure that has 7 x 3 scenes in the castles that was symmetrical, upwards, downwards and diagonally. She had a dream of the Celtic cross and woke up the next morning and created a chart for Macbeth. She then created one of these charts for each of the Shakespeare plays.

We would like your help to think about a way to digitise these on a free open-source learning platform. We will do this by using the chart of Macbeth to visualise the play, pulling out key quotes and characters based on your interpretation of the text.
