Arte Brasileira no Consulado | Brazilian Art at the Consulate

O projeto “Arte Brasileira no Consulado” apresenta a exposição “MostrAí: Explorando os Limites de Cores e Formas”, organizada pelo Grupo Mulheres do Brasil – Nova York.

No dia 8 de Setembro haverá uma visita guiada às 5:00 PM com a curadora da mostra, Lígia Martins. Ao realizar o cadastro, os participantes tomam ciência dos protocolos relacionados à pandemia da COVID-19.

A mostra permanece em cartaz no Consulado Geral do Brasil em Nova York até o dia 30 de Setembro.

Arte Brasileira no Consulado

A iniciativa busca dar visibilidade ao trabalho de artistas Brasileiros atuantes nos Estados de Nova York, Nova Jersey e Pensilvânia, por meio de exposições temporárias na sede do Consulado-Geral do Brasil em Nova York. Desde o lançamento, em 2019, o público que visita o Consulado pôde apreciar as fotografias de Eliseu Cavalcanti, Leonardo Finotti e Paul Clemence. A exposição "MostrAí: Explorando os Limites de Cores e Formas” dá continuidade ao projeto, agora com área expositiva ampliada. Artistas e curadores podem submeter propostas de exposição para o email [email protected] .

MostrAí

MostrAí é o mais novo projeto do Comitê de Arte e Cultura do Grupo Mulheres do Brasil Núcleo Nova York. O projeto tem como objetivo principal divulgar o trabalho de artistas brasileiros residentes na região de Nova York, por meio de exposições e mostras que aproximam suas obras ao público local.


COVID-19 ADVISORY AND AGREEMENT

You understand and agree that participation in the exhibition may expose you and others to COVID-19 also known as coronavirus. The General Consulate of Brasil and the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil NY makes no promises or assurances concerning anyone's or anything’s health, safety, or well-being during any event activities.

By signing below, you agree to take any and all reasonable precautions to safeguard yourself and others from being exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 or coronavirus, including all of the following:

1. You are aware of and will comply with all federal, state, and local laws and orders currently in effect related to COVID- 19 even if such laws may be rapidly changing.

2. You understand that you are responsible for exercising reasonable care to protect yourself, including, but not limited to, assessing your own risks, based on, among other things, your age, underlying health conditions, past travel, past potential exposure, doctor’s recommendations, and CDC recommendations.

3. You believe to the best of your knowledge and represent to General Consulate of Brasil and the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil NY you are not currently sick, and you do not have a fever, persistent cough, shortness of breath, or other COVID-19 symptoms.

4. Practice social distancing by keeping a distance of at least 6 feet from any other person. If that is not possible, ensure that you are wearing a mask. Do not form or be part of a gathering. Do not touch, stand close to, or lean against anyone or anything, including, but not limited to doorknobs, handles, light switches, tabletops, countertops, food or drinks, or someone else's cellphone, tablet, or other items.

By registering in this event, you agree that, in exchange for personally engaging in the exhibition and any other consideration, you shall release and hold the General Consulate of Brasil and the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil NY harmless from Consulate of any and all claims, liabilities, obligations, attorneys fees, or actions, and you shall indemnify the General Consulate of Brasil and the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil NY for any damages, costs, attorneys‘ fees, and/or fines from any third party that arises from or is related in any manner to any failure for you to comply with the above COVID- 19 safeguards. This release includes any and all the General Consulate of Brasil and the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil NY members. The registered individually hereby declares that he and/or she has read and understand this Agreement, and voluntarily agree to the hold harmless provision.



By attending this event, attendees automatically authorize Brazilian General Consulate , Grupo Mulheres do Brasil NY and their agents, promoters, organizers and sponsors to use the images taken in photographs and/or videos and footage, and any reproductions or adaptations of those images, for advertising, fundraising or any legal purposes aimed at furthering their mission, as well as the inclusion of personal contact information provided by the attendees in communication platforms such as emails
