Please note that this is a visit to the premises of the Northern Lighthouse Board and we will be meeting there for the start of the tour/talk at 16.30. We will be guided by the CEO who will tell us about the history and the advances made since 1786 - from coal braziers to modern day lights, buoys, beacons and ships. This will be an interesting visit.Free for members, £5 for non members
