A full day in Baildon arranged by Kevin Illingworth.
Baildon Hall (listed Grade II* and now a social club) is a gentry house of medieval origin with a cross-wing, probably of the late fifteenth century, cased in stone in 1673 with the timber-framing still visible inside.
We will meet at Baildon Hall Club, Hallfield Drive, Baildon BD17 6NH at 10.30am. The Hall will provide drinks upon arrival and at lunchtime; a buffet lunch will be available. President and local historian Mike Lawson will be our guide, and will also lead us to vernacular buildings in the Brook Hill area and in Baildon village later in the day.
For full details and information on how to book, please see https://www.yvbsg.org.uk/events.html.
