On Saturday, October 12th from 11am - 2 pm, travel back in time on a tour of the Abbot-Spalding House, former home of the "Father of Nashua" Daniel Abbot. Bring your family, friends, or come on your own to see one-of-a-kind Nashua artifacts. Friendly guides will be on hand to answer questions. $10 for non-members, free for members and/or active military and veterans, as well as their families. Located a 1 Abbott St, we are a Blue Star Museum.
Great news! There are two museums to tour. The Speare Museum is free and open to the public on October 12th from 11am- 2pm, as well. Located a 5 Abbott St, Nashua, it is just next door to the Abbot-Spalding House. Current Nashua exhibits include: World War II, Hat's Off, Frank M. Ingalls image collection, Frank Mooney's Nashua Underhill Edge Tools, and Disasters in Nashua's history. Don't miss the 1824 fire engine in our Nashua firefighter's room. Free scavenger hunt, including prizes for children.
