Visit CN 2747 during Open Gate hours on most Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 - 11:30 am in July and August. Check for updates on changes to these hours, as they depend on the weather. We will also be closed on holiday weekends.
CN 2747 is in Rotary Heritage Park at 735 Kildare Avenue West. A parking lot is available near the Transcona Trail, but space is limited.
The enclosure around CN 2747 is accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers via paved and gravel paths. A concrete pad surrounds CN 2747 for close-up viewing, and visitors can enter the locomotive's cab by using a single staircase. However, visitors cannot climb onto other parts of CN 2747 or the enclosure.
There are no public washrooms in Rotary Heritage Park. You can find washrooms at the Transcona Library across the street.
