'Visions of Italy' at ArtU Downtown First Thursdays
About this Event
Explore Italian fashion, textiles, design, art and culture through the eyes and work of ArtU students, created during Fashion and Fine Art Study Abroad Italy in summer 2026.
During the immersive experience program, fashion students visit textile mills and manufacturers, archives, museums, showrooms, foundations, art and fashion institutions, while developing relationships with Italian educational and industry partners.
Fine Art students explore painting on location in and around Florence and Venice. The exhibit will include works created by ArtU students expressing their vision of Italy.
Show & Tell from 5 PM to 6 PM: Meet our students, faculty, alums, industry professionals, and the San Francisco creative community to celebrate the continuing influence of Italian creativity, craftsmanship, design, and innovation.
