Libraries ACT is honoured to host the Southside Cameras Club’s latest photographic exhibition Visions of a Moment.
From the formation of an idea to the moment of exposure - in photography vision is the power of observation; it’s how you notice things that are worth capturing how you document things that are worth remembering how you see stories that are worth telling.
Beautifully captured through the lenses of the club’s members where there are no restrictions on specific genres of photography this showcase of over 60 images include nature underwater astro landscape architectural portrait abstract wildlife and composite photography.
About the Southside Camera Club
The Southside Camera Club members are a diverse group of photographers with skill levels ranging from novice to experienced. On the third Thursday of the month at 7.30 pm they hold a meeting with a speaker and monthly outings are organised with a specific theme. New members are welcome and further information can be obtained from their website.
Join us for the launch event
The Southside Camera Club will be kicking off their exhibition with a launch event. Southside Camera Club president Professor Richard Arculus will open the exhibition with members speaking about their works.
