About this Event
In January the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania unveiled its new Ten-Year Strategic Plan to foster economic growth. The plan targets five industries – agriculture, energy, life sciences, manufacturing, and robotics/technology – all of which will rely on investments to upgrade and innovate systems and technologies currently in place.
This includes a continued focus on rethinking how agencies can work at the speed of industry, from streamlining business licensing times to encouraging entrepreneurship.
Join us as thought leaders from government and industry discuss the concrete steps Pennsylvania’s agencies are taking to advance Pennsylvania’s vision of becoming a premier state to work, innovate, and do business.
Learning Objectives:
- Evaluate the state’s current strengths in IT innovation and the agencies and locales already acting to incorporate new technologies into their operations
- Review the role that emerging IT can play to inject new capabilities into the five strategic industries identified in the plan
- Delineate the steps needed to create tangible, tactical actions to deliver on the promise of the strategy
