Visible Mending for Knitwear Workshop

Learn how to create a colourful weave darn to add new life to your holey knitwear you wish you could wear again.

During this class with Tessa The Dresser you will learn:

· How knitwear is constructed.

· Different types of yarns, and needles for darning.

· How to create a weave darn.

· How to create different shapes and patterns for your darned area.

By the end you will have the skills you need to breathe new life into your knitwear, and a sample to refer to as you continue to apply this new skill.

You may bring along a piece of knitwear for advice on mending and may wish to work on it, or work on a sample piece of knitwear to practice first.

Materials will be provided.
