Visible mending is a fun, creative way to repair, strengthen, and restore damaged clothing instead of throwing it away! Learn various embroidery techniques to make your mending projects sustainable. Participants will receive a mending kit to practice stitching and take home. This program will be held at Creative Stitches Workshop (North Art Studios 3601 N North Street, Peoria, IL 61604). If you're unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 24 hours prior to the event to ensure someone else may take your seat.

Creative Stitches is located on the second floor of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Enter through the red double doors behind the building. Please notify staff if you need an entrance without stairs so the first floor entrance can be unlocked. Participants are welcome to bring a drink or snacks.
