Taking cues from the Japanese method of sashiko, we will be learning a few different types of visible mending. This hands-on workshop will demonstrate running stitches, patches, weaving with thread, and some of the more decorative stitches. You don't need to worry about any previous stitching knowledge. If you've got something that needs to be mended, bring it with you! Otherwise, we will have some fabric samples to practice with. The cost for this class is $50 per person.
