**Sacred Arts Series**
Philip Palermo and Kevin Lin perform three of J.S. Bach’s brilliant masterworks for violin and orchestra:
**Violin Concerto in A minor, BWV 1041
**Violin Concerto in E major, BWV 1042
**Concerto for Two Violins in D minor, BWV 1043
Likely composed during his years in Cöthen, these concertos may well have premiered at Zimmermann’s Coffeehouse in Leipzig with Bach conducting the Collegium Musicum.
A German pastry and coffee reception following the concert in the parlor offers an opportunity to meet the soloists.
Free and open to the public
**** Performance in support of the American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association. Strokes are the No. 4 cause of death and leading cause of disability in the United States.
