Our virtual workshop covers topics; Mindset & Resilience – what makes a successful entrepreneur; Marketing & Planning; Finance, Raising & Growing Funds; Networking and connections; and is ran by expert delivers Elaine Simons and Jed Hassid:

Elaine formed EJS Marketing in 1992, having held a number of senior business development and marketing posts including The British Airports Authority (BAA) and GKN. Elaine provides coaching and consultancy across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, professional services (legal and recruitment) the creative industries, retail, and hospitality. In addition to the consultancy, she delivers business development and marketing workshops from new start-ups to well established high growth businesses.

Elaine works within the University Sector supporting graduate entrepreneurs develop their ideas through pre-start training workshops. Elaine is also a Princes Trust Mentor a voluntary post she has held for over ten years.

Jed is a business growth expert, experienced in working with board level decision makers to define and implement key business strategies and so drive shareholder value. His main areas of expertise include strategic and business planning, strategic marketing and business performance improvement.

In support of his consulting and coaching work, Jed regularly designs and delivers practical workshops aimed at helping business leaders, managers and startup entrepreneurs learn and implement new skills and techniques as well as challenge existing ways of doing business.
