Virtual Tour: Forgotten Women of Arlington National Cemetery

THE TOPIC: Part Two of the Women of Arlington National Cemetery is a virtual tour experience entirely different that our live Part 1 and Part 3 walking tours. On this tour, we will learn about several important women who are buried on the outer edges of the cemetery which we don't see on our walking tour. We will learn about aviation pioneers, medical pioneers, artists, and the living women that help make Arlington National Cemetery the special place that it is today.

THE DETAILS: A recording of the tour will be available for one week before expiring. Join us on Zoom to communicate with our tour guide in real time! Share comments and messages through the chat box during the tour or hop on video after the program for a meet and greet. This tour is a digital presentation in which our public historians highlight places relevant to women's history in the Washington, DC area. This is not a live tour through the city but rather a presentation of multimedia resources accompanied by professional storytelling.
