Virginia Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals

- Take this state-approved training course and get your certificate.
- Submit your application to the court.
- Get your permit! Residents should receive their permit within 45 days.
This course is taught by experienced instructors and meets the training requirements necessary to obtain a VA Concealed Handgun Permit.
Effective 1/1/2021, online classes are NO LONGER ACCEPTED in Virginia. In-Person training is required to get certified.
No experience?? NO PROBLEM!!
You do NOT need to own a firearm or have any experience to take this course. Heck, you don't even need to want a Concealed Carry Permit. Several of our students take it to learn the basics so they feel more comfortable around guns. Everyone is welcome!
Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit is currently accepted in 36 states
To date, Virginia has issued over 718,000 permits. Don’t allow yourself or your family to become victims! You should be empowered to protect yourself. You have a responsibility and an obligation to protect your family. You also need to know how to handle firearms safely.
