Join us as we dive into the world of the partner dance known as Chicago Stepping! This is an 8-week course.Build your confidence on the dance floor, meet new people, and get some great exercise while dancing to your favorite R&B and Soul music!
Never partner danced before or two left feet? We’ve got you covered! We make the steps simple and easy to follow!
Date and Time: Every Wednesday starting August 5th - 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Cost: $15/drop-in, $40/4 weeks
Location: Susan's Kitchenette, 1270 Diamond Springs Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455 - We will be in the room to the right of the entrance labeled "catering services"
*** Chicago Stepping is an African-American cultural social dance that developed in the inner city of Chicago evolving and incorporating elements from dances such as the Bop, Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, and Harlem Swing. With its creative patterns and intricate music, it is a stylish and smooth dance that has become popular throughout the country. Danced primarily to the music genres of R&B, Jazz, Soul, and Rap. All are welcome to learn this art form! ***
