Violetta Wolf Talk for the Tucson Gem & Fine Mineral Show 2025

Violetta Wolf, Director of the Alfie Norville Gem and Mineral Museum, will give a presentation on the newly acquired Arthur Roe Collection of Micromounts.

A master micromounter, Arthur Roe began collecting micromounts ­– tiny mineral specimens – nearly 90 years ago and was inducted into the Micromounters Hall of Fame in 1983.

Violetta will discuss highlights from the collection, the museum’s plans for cataloging and preserving it, and its intended uses for education and research.
