Information
MIA BIO:Miami born and raised, Mia sings with a whispery affectation amidst lo-fi synths on the ghoulishly catchy Creatures of the Night. A relatively new artist, Mias profile is already on the rise thanks to her singing swagger and her musics deep groove. Sometimes all it takes is a single, undeniable 7 to break out in the sceneand Creatures of the Night b/w Love Me Right is irrefutable proof.INTROVERTED FUNK BIO:Introverted Funk is a Los Angelesbased duo blending the timeless grooves of funk, disco, and Rs shows emphasize feel, groove, and musicianship, an approach that carries directly into their recordings. The duo has shared stages with genre-defining acts such as The Altons, Thee Sinseers, and King Pari, and has opened for artists including 79.5 and Vanessa Zamora. In June 2025, Introverted Funk released their debut 7 vinyl, Fan Out / Tell U, with Star Creature, marking a key milestone in their growing catalog. Whether performing live or digging through records at home, Introverted Funk creates a space where individuality is celebrated, stories unfold through groove, and every beat invites you to move. KING PARI BIO:King Pari is like potato chips, popsicles, velcro, slinkies joyful inventions born from happy accidents. Joe Paris Christensen and Cameron Kinghorn had been playing in the same Twin Cities scenes for years, but when Joe sent Cameron a new tune hed whipped up on a tape machine, something clicked. This sounds like how my brain feels, Cameron said. That session grew into the first King Pari song, which set the band on a journey that included releases with Acrophase Records, Peoples Potential Unlimited, and has recently culminated in the release of their debut album There It Goes on Stones Throw Records. The bands Minneapolis funk pedigree anchors their music. Both Joe and Cameron played alongside some of Princes closest associates, and Joes previous band was among the last that Prince personally invited to play at Paisley Park. Theyve also been tapped into the national funk and jazz scenes from the beginning King Paris first gig was opening for Kamasi Washington, before theyd even landedon a name. The band pairs a freewheeling, fun vibe with careful reflection. If listening to their music sounds like that moment after a rough patch when things are finally starting to go your way, its because thats the spirit in which it was made. King Pari is always trying new things musically, but whenever they finish a song, theres only one question: Is this us?
