Never shop hopped? Well, get ready! This is the mother lode of all road trips! And it's produced by Nellie's Barn Sale so it's sure to be a good time!The Vintage Shop Hop is a self-guided day of vintage & boutique shopping held twice a year. We're gathering 400+ vintage & antique shops, along with barn sales, women's boutiques & home decor shops in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin to roll out the red carpet for you on October 1 & 2, 2021. You just have to grab your friends, hit the road, and shop hard!
Each participating shop offers up an "in-store" promotion--fun things like discounts, demonstrations, artists on-site, prize drawings, treats, entertainment, food trucks, swag bags, punch cards, parking lot sales, and more...whatever they want to offer to customers to make your visit special. All shops will be open from at least 10am to 5pm and some earlier or later! Be sure to check our list and map over the next several weeks for each shop's times...the list grows every day!
You can follow along on this page as we highlight shops and their activities for the event weekend. Every few days we post an interactive Google Map showing all shop locations which we update weekly. You can pull it up on your mobile device as you shop, making it easy to hop from shop to shop! And because it's built within Google Maps, you can also see restaurants, points of interest, gas stations, and more! There will also be a Master List of Shops, with all the detail you need to plan. You can find this list posted every few days...and when it's complete with all 400+ shops, it will be posted to our blog year-round. Print it off and keep it in your glove compartment for your next road trip!
