Vintage Mindfulness Workshop: Mexican "God's Eyes"

Come join Erica Penny, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate for a vintage mindfulness workshop at 8300 Health Park in Raleigh, NC. You'll park near Entrance C and we'll meet in the Takes a Village Space, Suite 228. We will briefly learn about the tradition of God's Eyes throughout Central America. This tradition can be traced back to the 1500s. Next we will choose our favorite colors and begin the meditative weaving of "God's eyes", just like the good-old-days of summer camp. These weavings can represent the power to see and understand things unknown as well as the belief that God will watch over the maker of the "God's Eyes." $40 per participant (will include a make and take souvenir and some light refreshments)
