Join us for aviation movie night on Thursday, November 21st at 6:30pm. It's "Airplane!" - what more needs to be said? Come prepared to laugh - and don't miss our showing of Zero Hour, the movie Airplane was based off, on October 17th.Pizza, popcorn, and soft drinks served at 6:30, movie starts at 7pm.
Free and family friendly! A $10 donation is encouraged and appreciated.
The Movie: Airplane! (1980)
Inspired by bad airplane-disaster movies — particularly the 1957 Paramount film Zero Hour! which we are showing at museum movie night on October 17th! this fall — the movie is, nominally, about a former fighter pilot (Robert Hays) who, still struggling with his past, boards a plane to win back his flight-attendant sweetheart (Julie Hagerty), only to have to face his own demons when the plane's pilots come down with food poisoning mid-flight. Fun fact: The movie was made by three guys from Milwaukee, WI!
