Ville & Tommie return to the UK!
A special evening of music and dance at St Andrew’s URC in central Sheffield. Don’t miss this rare chance to see the duo on their UK tour. Expect Nordic dances in abundance with some Balfolk classics to boot. In addition to the concert and dance, there will also be a polska workshop with Lucy Huzzard.

Ville & Tommie
A simple duo comprised of confusing people, Ville & Tommie are Swedish-Finnish fiddler Ville Syri (SE/FI) and Helsinki-based Cornish accordionist Tommie Black-Roff (UK). They met while both studying at the Sibelius Academy, and now reunite over a common love of tunes, playfulness and dance music. Swedish, Finnish, Cornish and modernish folk music all finds a home in their able hands.
Expect the unexpected, bring your own mustard.

Lucy Huzzard
Having studied Swedish folk dance at the Eric Sahlström Institute in 2014, Lucy has been teaching Swedish dance for 12 years, both solo and as part of the Third Beat Dance Collective with Ella Sprung and Andy Parr. From her teaching you can expect enthusiasm for learning through movement and embodiment, deep technical understanding of the mechanics of Swedish dances, top tips and a lot of fun!
