It’s no doubt we’re in a turbulent chapter in the world right now. Song is a balm for reconnecting. Songs tell our stories, move our minds and synchronize our hearts and bodies. We know this deep down because our ancestors sang together. They sang in harmony, in protest, in hoots, hollers and hymns. Group polyphony is a powerful way to reawaken to the common miracle that we each have a voice and to remember that voices shift culture.
Come gather in ceremony and song on Memorial Day weekend. Let’s sing our way back to belonging as we build our vibrant community in the months and years to come. We’ll be led by songwriter and songleader Margot Milcetich. Margot doesn’t just sing, she invokes.
Floor seating with a few chairs available. Please bring what you need to sit comfortably.
