Greeting Paddlers! The Vikings are back in action this spring and we have our first clinic of the year to announce.Saturday Apr. 5th in Frankfort on the Elkhorn Creek. 9am to 4pm with hot lunch provided. Clinic is $10 for Viking members in good standing, with all proceeds to benefit American Whitewater.
Our clinic format will cover dry land exercises with boat outfitting, gear and safety talks, then we will move to roll and wet exit practice before lunch. After lunch we will load boats and head to the put-in for our run down the Elkhorn.
Paddlers in need of gear and equipment please reach out to us ASAP to arrange for loaner gear. We have boats, helmets, pfd's, paddles, and a limited selection of thermal gear to help get new paddlers in the water.
