Want to represent Wichita as our best all-around athlete on ESPN?
The Greater Wichita YMCA is bringing the Viii Sports Qualifying Championships to Wichita and giving the overall winners the unbelievable opportunity to appear live on the ESPN worldwide sports network.
This multi-sport course competition will take place Saturday, June 29 on the South Y turf fields. Each participant competes in 8 sports in under 3 minutes: golf, softball, tennis, basketball, football, soccer, strength, and speed.

The top male and female finishers will be invited to compete in the Viii Sports National Championships on August 2, 2024 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This event will be aired LIVE – we repeat, LIVE – on ESPN.
Anyone age 18 and older can enter; it is free for Y members and $10 for the general public.
