Class Description
Looking to turn your videos into final products? Come learn the basics to editing in software such as Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. You'll learn how to organize your footage for easy searching and usability with editing software.
Instructor - Jonathan Polep-Saffer ( @thesustainablecreation )
Jonathan loves cinema and grew up watching thousands of hours of movies. In 2019, he learned how to be a videographer, working with lighting, audio, and editing software. He started photography in 2021 and does both professionally as a freelancer. Using visuals to tell a story and teaching others to develop their skills in visual story telling are his passions.

Class Goals
-Organizing footage for searchability and using editing software
-Importing footage into Premiere Pro & Davinci Resolve
-Setting up your timeline and creating a simple edit
-Walk away with the knowledge to elevate your content
Material Supplied
Computers and software will be available for the duration of the class.
Students Should Bring
Any materials needed to absorb the info. Footage that they are interested in using (optional). External hard drive or thumb drive [128 GB min] recommended if they want to keep what their working on.
Prerequisites
Students must be 12 years or older. All students under 18 must be accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a responsible adult.
