RACHEL MCCRUM is a poet, performer, editor, and curator. Originally from Northern Ireland, she lived in Edinburgh, Scotland between 2010 and 2016, where she was the first BBC Scotland Poet in Residence and recipient of a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship. Her debut collection The First Blast to Awaken Women Degenerate was translated by Jonathan Lamy and published in a bilingual edition with Mémoire d’encrier in Fall 2020, and was a finalist for the Le Prix de traduction de la Fondation Cole from the Quebec Writers’ Federation in 2022. She is currently working on a new spoken word show on stepmothers. Rachel is the vocalist for noise-poetry group Pigs&Wolves.

RACHEL MCCRUM est poète, interprète, organisatrice d’événements et animatrice d’ateliers. Originaire d’Irlande du Nord, elle a vécu à Édimbourg, en Écosse entre 2010 et 2016. Elle a été la première poète en résidence à la radio BBC Scotland et a reçu un Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship. Son premier recueil The First Blast to Awaken Women Degenerate a été traduit par Jonathan Lamy a été publié dans une édition bilingue avec Mémoire d’encrier à l’automne 2020 et a été finaliste pour le Prix de traduction de la Fondation Cole, Quebec Writers’ Federation, en 2022. Elle travaille présentement sur un projet sur l’identité de la belle-mère. Rachel est la vocaliste du groupe de poésie noise Pigs&Wolves.
