VAN returns to Dallas on April 17, from 7-10 pm, in celebration of Dallas Arts Month. It will once again transform the AT&T Discovery District⁠—including the 104-foot Discovery District Media Wall—into an open-air exhibition in the heart of downtown Dallas that is Free and open to all.
Artists for this year’s Dallas edition on April 17, from 7-10 pm were chosen by the Selection Committee: Christina J. Hahn (Multidisciplinary Artist, Founder of the Dallas Asian American Art Collective), Shalissa Perry (Chief Marketing Officer at Downtown Dallas, Inc.), and Thomas Feulmer (Curator at The Warehouse, Dallas). Innovative video artworks will thematically respond to our uncertain present, marked by ecological, technological, and socio-political transformations.
Video Art Night is an exhibition of video artworks presented in unexpected public spaces, taking place annually since 2022. Featuring artworks selected through an open call, this showcase spotlights innovative regional and national talent while transforming outdoor urban locations—from public parks across downtown Dallas to the 104-foot Discovery District Media Wall—into open-air exhibitions that are free and open to all. This one-of-a-kind art experience, accompanied by live music, culinary offerings, and more, expands access to art and technology while bringing diverse communities together.
