Editing is where a video project either comes together or falls apart — and the decisions you make in the edit room start long before you open your software.

In this class, we dig into the editing platforms available to videographers today, how to choose the right one for your work, and what smart editing actually looks like in practice.

We’ll use Adibe Premiere Pro to walk through real editing techniques, pulling from examples across music videos, documentaries, and social media content. You’ll learn how shooting with intention makes editing faster, how to structure your process to minimize client revisions, and how editing approaches shift depending on the project — from a brand interview to a music video to vertical social content.

Adobe Premiere Pro will not be provided. If you wish to practice editing and follow along you must have the program downloaded and ready to run before class starts.

You are not required to have something to edit along with if you wish to just watch the instructor and take notes to practice and impliment skills learned after the class.
